The introduction of the aseptic filling process in the US dairy industry which took place a few years ago was the opportunity for Vaassen to start its activities in the US dairy market, after having developed similar markets elsewhere in the world. In close cooperation with business partners, the Vaassen R&D Department developed dedicated specifications in full compliance with the FDA regulations.

Customers such as Nestlé, Morningstar Foods, HP Hood, Shamrock Farms and others were delighted to work with Vaassen when developing their new product lines and market introductions.

During the past few years the aseptic concept has become a more and more widespread processing system throughout the country. Vaassen, being a reliable partner in this concept, consequently increased its position in both the USA and the Canadian market. In the meantime we monitor and support the development of new technical developments together with the equipment and bottle suppliers.

The production of our bottle capping foils take place in The Netherlands, Europe, in our well-invested modern manufacturing plant and is supported in the market place by our global sales and technical support teams. To even better serve the USA customers in an optimal way, the market services are fully supported by our sister company Spiralkote Flexible Packaging in Orlando FL, with warehouse facilities and shipping and billing activities. This combination of forces allows Vaassen to offer a full organization to the US dairy partners.
